La terza traccia del primo album dei Madness. La 2tone band che ha riportato in auge lo ska nel Regno Unito assieme a band come i Selecter, The Specials, English Beat e tante altre che alla fine degli anni 70 hanno dato vita ad un revival ska dopo quello giamaicano degli anni 60.
Il nome della band "madness" è una canzone di Prince Buster uno dei BIG delle sonorità in levare dell'epoca, e il nome dell'album "one step beyond", è un altra sua hit.
