Dopo essersi chiamati The Detours e The Hingh Numbers con l'entata di Keith Moon alla batteria la band inglese cambia il nome in THE WHO e cosi pubblica il suo primo album Rhythm and Blues con la hit inno di "una generazione" mod di cui ne adottano il look.
