Probably one of the best films ever made about a notorious yet misunderstood Youth sub-cult, Doug Aubrey's Violent, Passionate and revealing, World of Skinhead stands alone as a remarkable testimony to the anger, sweat, confusion and beauty of youth. Marginalized and shoddily treated by the TV station that commissioned it, World of Skinhead is now widely available via pirates and bit torrents on the web. Here for the first time is Aubrey's own upload for you to watch and enjoy for posterity. World of Skinhead was also credited (though never acknowledged) as the inspiration behind Shane Meadows 'This is England' who also used un-credited extracts in the original feature film of that name. World of Skinhead was also ground-breaking in its pioneering use of small format camcorders alongside S8 and 16mm film to tell it's story.
