Poison Ivy in principio fece ballare i mods negli anni 60 con Manfred Mann, era il 1966 per l'esattezza quando fù pubblicata. Più di un decennio dopo però arrivò l'ora di un nuovo revival mod e ci pensarono i The Lambrettas a rendere ancora più ballabile il brano nel '79-80. Il mod esagerato: uno scooter con 81 luci e 34 specchietti. Leicestershire, 2 Luglio 1983
Scooter
Bryn, a school leaver, e rides a motor scooter that would have made a 1960s Mod mad with envy, Saturday 2nd July 1983. The gleaming machine has more extras than moving parts. There are 81 lights front and back and 34 mirrors. When the scooter is on the move and all lit up, it looks like a huge yellow flame from the front and a huge red flame from the rear, according to awed locals in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.
